More About The Book
This is the autobiography of Amos D. Neill. Contained within this book is the life story of a man who, early in life, chose to form a strong relationship with God, and allow God to guide him through some of the most unimaginable tragedies in life. Without this relationship, it is doubtful that Amos would have survived his early years.
At first, Amos’ life story may sound like that of many others you may know. At the time of this writing, Amos hasn’t become President of the United States just yet. He is not particularly famous, nor is he a household name by any means.
That said, Amos’ life deserves a second glance. Why?
It is simply this: knowing the lessons from Amos’ life benefits yours.
Throughout his lifetime, God led Amos from humble beginnings as a mortuary worker and ambulance driver to someone who:
- Obtained a Doctorate in Theology in 1970.
- He helped found the Suicide Prevention Hotlines in California – which ultimately led to the National Suicide Prevention Hotline.
- He was instrumental in the downfall of the Nixon Administration during the Watergate Scandal.
- He enjoyed a 34 year personal and professional relationship with President Ronald Reagan.
After reading this, you may be finding all of this hard to believe. But that’s the thing, isn’t it? Inside his book, “Genesis”, Amos outlines exactly the events that lead to the summary listed above.
